Q&A: How do I stop overeating at night?
Question by fadiandgillian: How do I stop overeating at night?
I am 5’5 150 pounds and I want to drop 15 pounds. I lost 15 pounds already but I’ve been stuck at this weight for months now. I work out 3-6 days a week at a moderate to hard intensity and do weights and cardio. I feel like I am in decent shape except I just can’t shed this layer of fat because I overeat at night. I am usually very good about eating throughout the day – except at dinner and beyond. Anyone have any advice? I am sooooo frustrated!

Set yourself a time when you stop eating. Say 8 or 9pm. Then brush your teeth.

In my opinion weight in most cases is a mind set it’s a battle between your mind and your body. Ask yourself before you over indulge do I really need this. If you get hungry at night try an apple or some peanut butter crackers and a bottle of water. Don’t let your body beat your mind. If this is an important goal to you stick to it and I’m sure you will find success
good luck!
the food you eat after dinner doesn’t get used up as you are less active. This has to stop. When I was shedding pounds, I made a decision. I brushed my teeth at a certain time after supper each day. Once I did that, I didn’t allow myself to eat anymore.
Drink a lot of water with the meal, it will keep you full so you don’t over eat. And keep yourself occupied like play a game or something after eating. And never ever eat in front of the t.v. its a distraction that makes you over look how much you eat. If all goes well you’ll shed that last 15 in a jiffy! Good luck!
